Kenneth A. Payson B.Arch 1976 Cornell University
Ken Payson has practiced as a licensed architect since 1980. He worked in New York city, Annapolis, Maryland and Washington D.C. before joining with Peg Denney to form PaysonDenney Architects. During his 28 years in the field, he has supervised the design and construction of over 150 residential and commercial projects.
He has taught architecture on the faculties of Texas Tech University, Auburn University and the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-ARC.)
Mr. Payson holds an NCARB certificate and currently maintains licenses to practice architecture in California, New Mexico and Maryland.

Ms. Denney has been principal designer at PaysonDenney
Architects since 1978. Before that she had extensive
experience as a project architect for residential and commercial
projects in the Baltimore - Washington area.
In Baltimore, she served as Commercial Revitalization architect for the Regional Planning Council. She was intimately involved in that city's groundbreaking Commercial Revitalization efforts. Her responsibilities included community outreach, design assistance, and development of design guidelines for Historic Downtown neighborhoods in Baltimore and surrounding communities.
Ms. Denney is also an accomplished painter whose works hang in corporate and private collections throughout the U.S. Her combined talents in building design and art have been fundamental in establishing PaysonDenney's reputation for intelligent, inventive design and sensitive use of color and materials.
